    DC SOFA (Society for Financial Awareness) is a non-profit group that conducts NO COST financial education seminars to companies of all sizes – our seminars satisfy the Department of Labor's ERISA 404(c) Requirement for companies offering any type of defined contribution pension plan to employees.

    Our DC Chapter has led financial symposiums for unions, companies and Federal agencies including the EPA, NIH, National Defense University, and The Smithsonian, to name a few.

    Our speakers are experts in their field (Financial Advisors, Estate Planning Attorneys, Insurance Professionals, Accountants, etc), and there is no solicitation or any cost involved. We provide webinars in order to service employees outside of the DC area - and every employee regardless of location is entitled to a complimentary follow up one on one consultation with a financial planner
