OutSolve announces the acquisition of Indianapolis-based Taapestry, the affirmative action division of DirectEmployers Association. Originally launched in 2019, Taapestry supplemented DirectEmployers' already prestigious federal contractor job listing (FCJL) solution.
This transaction bolsters OutSolve’s focus on providing enterprise-level affirmative action solutions, and the growing trend of larger federal contractors seeking more all-encompassing compliance services. As a result of the sale, in addition to affirmative action, Taapestry customers will gain access to compensation, state pay reporting, EEO-1/VETS reporting, training, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and more recently, ESG services.
“We share the same vision as OutSolve—to offer companies more than just a “check-the-box” solution. The sale of Taapestry to OutSolve allows DirectEmployers to focus on its core mission while ensuring our customers remain in good hands,“ says Candee Chambers, Executive Director at DirectEmployers. “OutSolve has been in business for over 24 years and has a solid history of performance. Taapestry customers will undoubtedly benefit from the talented team at OutSolve, and now gain the compliance expertise and guidance from two industry powerhouses.”
“Over the past few years, OutSolve has evolved to meet the demands of a shifting environment. We invested in developing a unique combination of compliance and non-compliance services to address the surge of new laws and new corporate expectations,” commented Jeremy Mancheski, President of OutSolve. “This purchase not only underscores our desire to grow but to show up for contractors by developing real solutions to present-day challenges. We look forward to working with Taapestry customers, and we believe they will benefit greatly from OutSolve’s ecosystem of support and services.”
