As cultural diversity issues continue to grab the attention of the nation, companies are scrambling to play catch up with these beliefs, and are facing lawsuits focused on the lack of value and respect presented to employees within the workplace. In fact, not even the “coolest” place to work, and one of the biggest tech titans in the world can escape the need for proper and effective DE&I training and policies. Despite its consistent ranking as one of the top companies to work for year after year, Google continues to face a number of lawsuits based on discrimination, harassment, and antitrust. In fact, as it’s consistently boasting its top rankings in work perks and unique work allotments, Google has ALSO been ranked among companies including Uber, Mcdonald's, and Target as one of the top companies sued for discrimination and harassment, paying out multi-millions of dollars in settlements and compensation.
