Diversity officers and/or D&I teams should work closely with HR to carry out actions that promote change throughout the organization. These include educating management and employees, reviewing and revising policies and procedures to ferret out potentially discriminatory practices, developing sound hiring practices, providing diversity training for all employees, helping to create an inclusive work culture, and addressing employees’ concerns immediately and fairly.
