Private Eyes Background Checks Supports Victims from the WildFires in Paradise, CA

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Private Eyes partnered with the Sydney Paige Foundation to donate backpacks filled with school supplies to students affected by the tragic fire in Paradise, CA. 90% of students lost their homes and 8 out of 9 schools were destroyed. Teachers and school staff are focused on making the kids feel loved and supported, and have requested thousands of backpacks and school supplies to help get kids back on track with their education. Private Eyes filled 200 backpacks with school supplies to donate to the schools (this provides supplies for eight classrooms!). Private Eyes encourages everyone to help and support especially with all of the loss happening right now. This is a great way to give back to the community and help students get back on track.

Private Eyes also partnered with William Jaskar Agency Farmers Insurance to donate to the victims of these tragic fires. Veterans working to organize support for the victims of the CAMP Fire in NorCal.

Material donations

  • The Butte County Fairgrounds in Gridley need these donations: New towels, and new clothing in all sizes, including shoes, undergarments, sweatshirts and bras. They do not currently need food or water.
  • The Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds in Yuba City are in need of pet food and supplies (collars, leashes), cat litter, food bowls for animals and hay for livestock. These can be dropped off at the livestock area of the fairgrounds.
  • The Yuba-Sutter Habitat For Humanity in Marysville is accepting material donations like clothing and shoes. Address: 202 D St., Marysville, CA 95901
  • The Sutter Fire Department, is taking donations of paper cups, paper plates, paper towels, animal food, new jackets, new coats, and bottled water. Address: 2340 California St., Sutter, CA 95982

The third action Private Eyes took was to donate to the fund below. "Paradise and Chico will never be the same. I have a number of employees affected, and everyone has people sharing homes, resources, etc. It's still bringing out the best in people." States Katie Clapp.

Although the fires have subsided, fire victims are still in need of almost everything. For those of you who want to contribute to those impacted by the fire, she has requested that you donate to the Golden Valley Bank Foundation.
