Our mission is to help our global network and help our communities - Our CEO, Dr. Nancy Zentis, has been sewing hand-made masks and sending them to local hospitals, first responders, service workers and local seniors. Nancy along with Leslie Tansey, RN, a retired nurse and member of DAR, who live in Fort Myers, Florida, have made and distributed over 500 masks. Nancy and Leslie are dedicated to continue their mission as long as the masks are needed.
Nancy has supported many community projects and was one of the founders of Dolls for World Peace, with Linda Forrest. They organized seniors a a local nursing home and sewed and sent of 25,000 soft flannel dolls to hospitals, orphanages, churches, and other non profit organizations. IOD believes in giving back. We have provided scholarships and discounts to those who didn’t have funds to complete our programs, and offered discounts to the military, unemployed, and this with dire situations. We also provide free materials, toolkits, and membership in our OD Professional Network to our participants, along with free events. We will be offering several free webinars coming up in the next few weeks to help organization leaders and OD professionals get their businesses up and running when the stay at home order is lifted. IOD is the premier leader in providing online OD certification programs for more than 19 and has provide support to the field of OD in many countries. The IOD team has attended many conferences to continue to support the OD Community in Africa, India, Middle East, and Jamaica as well as North America. We sincerely care about our community and OD Professionals and will give our support as long as needed.
