Drug testing is performed using liquid chromatography utilizing tandem mass spectroscopy (LC-MSMS) for detection of drug and drug metabolite molecules. Isotopically labeled internal standards are added to enable precise determination of concentration. A list of molecules tested and cut-offs (lowest concentration reported as positive) are available here. Laboratory meets all requirements for high complexity testing as specified under federal (CMS) Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
