Train-the-Trainer Certification

TrainSMART’s Train-the-Trainer Certification prepares subject matter experts, internal trainers, supervisors, and learning professionals to design and deliver engaging, effective workplace training.

Participants learn how adults learn, organize training content, write measurable objectives, facilitate discussions, manage group dynamics, ask effective questions, use interactive activities, and adapt their delivery for different audiences. The program also strengthens presentation skills, trainer confidence, learner engagement, and the ability to handle challenging classroom situations.

This highly interactive three-day program emphasizes practice, coaching, and real-world application. Participants deliver multiple training segments, receive expert and peer feedback, and complete a final presentation.

TrainSMART’s program is recognized by the International Board of Certified Trainers (IBCT), an independent international certification organization. Participants who successfully complete the course may apply for an internationally recognized IBCT trainer credential, such as Associate Trainer, Certified Professional Trainer, or Certified Trainer and HRD Consultant, based on eligibility and IBCT requirements.
