2026 Train-the-Trainer Workshops in Richmond, VA

TrainSMART’s three-day Train-the-Trainer Workshop in Richmond, VA, prepares subject matter experts, internal trainers, managers, and learning professionals to deliver effective workplace training.

Participants learn adult learning principles, communication styles, training needs assessment, learning objectives, instructional design, assessment development, active learning, facilitation techniques, presentation delivery, and methods for handling challenging participants.

The Richmond workshop is highly interactive and limited to a small class. Participants practice leading activities, deliver a final videotaped training session, and receive individualized coaching and feedback from an experienced master trainer.

TrainSMART’s Train-the-Trainer program is certified by the International Board of Certified Trainers and incorporates internationally recognized professional competencies. Eligible graduates may pursue an IBCT trainer credential.
