Streamlined HR Management for Mid-Sized Companies
A generally positive experience, as it streamlined many core HR processes, particularly for managing employee data and tracking performance metrics effectively.
Pros: The user interface was intuitive. The system improved efficiency in tracking employee attendance and leave requests, making HR management smoother.
Cons: Integration with existing payroll systems was initially challenging. The outdated and redundant fields made navigation difficult at times.
Paperless processes and user friendly experience for our new hires. The down side is that sometimes user encounter issues login back in if they have to complete a task a after 14 days of the hire date. We recently have implemented a training module to automate our hourly performance evaluations. The automation of these evaluations will save HR team time to focus on people!

Before we engaged with EmpTrust we were using a manual paperwork process. The EmpTrust platform revolutionized our onboarding program, allowing us to create a secure, flexible, and detailed approach. There isn't a lot I disliked about working with EmpTrust. I want to be able to make more formatting changes to templates and documents. We created a secure process for gathering onboarding paperwork and then transitioned to the ATS to streamline our process further.
When you have a chalenenging I-9 question or situation you can call their customer service and get immediate expert help. No waiting on hold or being transferred to foreign call centers like a lot of other I-9 providers. They are helping us become fully I-9 and E-verify compliant.
A Good Beginners HR System. Customer service is phenomenal and they are always ready to help.
Pros: The customer service and ability to customize as needed for business changes is great.
Cons: There is a learning curve to this platform. It's not the easiest to get familiar with. Visually, it is hard to get comfortable with and a bit challenging to understand what functions do what things. Integration with other applications are also limited.
Whenever I stress about a feature or a function, it's not necessary. Today, I called, thinking we would need to wait for a custom, and you all thought of it. There were buttons to turn on and off so the system would function the way we needed. I can't think of anything I dislike. The system is user-friendly, and I don't find things buried as they are in some systems. We use Applicant Tracking, I9, and E-verify, and it allows us to give permissions to different users.
The system is very comprehensive and the support team is responsive to questions and problems. I like the graphs and charts but I feel like the UI can still be more user-friendly. Or perhaps EMP Trust should provide "how-to" guides for various process which would be helpful.

Very user friendly for applicant to complete onboarding documents. From the Recruiting side it is very easy to initiate onboarding. Great tool to utilize when onboarding a large number of remote candidates.
EMP Trust has proven to be a large value add for our company. The value is incredible. Replacing a distributed workforce's onboarding solution is no small task and they helped us the whole way. To say we were "picky" would have been an understatement. They helped us integrate all our current vendors together and continue to help us connect and move our data. We never have to update tax forms anymore, it's just done for us, automatically which is a huge timesaver when you work in a bunch of states. I recommend giving this software platform a shot. It's the best value in the industry. There aren't many companies that will work so hard to help you build the onboarding process that YOU want. They spent an untold number of hours customizing and tweaking to make it what it is today. Onboarding a large, distributed workforce with high turnover is hard. EMP helps us do that and handles all the tax form updates, WOTC, background checks, e-verify, and i-9 verification. Without this system, we'd be doing each of these pieces by paper, like we were before.

We love the ease of use for new hires, customer service. We hire in masses vs individuals. Emp Trust makes the process of new hire paperwork, I9's and e-verify a breeze.
When you have a question EMP Trust HR is right on it, they respond in a timely manner which really alleviates fear of missed deadlines and requests. There is nothing that we dislike about using them. We are solving our I9 concerns, with easy to use software and reminders, it takes the headache out of what needs to be submitted and when!
Being able to obtain an electronic I9 form for our employees in a quick secure efficient manner. Obtaining completed I9s from our new hires within the Federally mandated time frame. Employees have more access to the form in electronic format and do not need to look for printers nor shipping centers.
Emp Trust have a very user friendly platform and dashboard. They also provide excellent customer support with a fast response time. No negative issues at all. I have not encountered any issue that was not resolved satisfactorily. Emp Trust offers a very simple interface for new hires to complete their electronic I-9 form. No passwords or logins are needed as the invitation email provides a secure direct link.

Liz! She is my go-to for questions and has all the answers. She is very quick to respond, which is very appreciated. At this point, the platform is easy to maneuver through, but it did take some getting used to. The support is unbeatable. We switched to EMP Trust from our previous system because that system's support was horrible. I have been delighted with the support and help received from EMP Trust reps. We are ensuring that all our I9s are completed correctly. This is a great benefit because it's a huge relief to not have incorrect I9s hanging over our heads.
We are very happy with their service, they answer any issues promptly. Customer service has been great. The staff has been quick to respond and develop a resolution to the problem. Phillip Santo's training was very good. They resolve any issues quickly. Having the I-9 and E-Verify steps in one system makes it more seamless for our new hires, and also makes it easier to manage the steps from an admin perspective.
Easy to use once it's set up. New hires are able to complete paperwork prior to first day.
If you are looking for an easy way to onboard new employees, especially if you have remote workforce, this is a great piece of software. Perfect for companies where all new hires fill out the same paperwork and complete the same training.
Cons: Things get really complicated if you have employees in a variety of provinces, filling different paperwork based on their role. There are functions that EMP was not able to accommodate for us. We are likely too big/too complicated for this piece of software, and neither us nor the provider asked all the right questions to figure this out prior to the implementation. This is not EMP's fault nor it is ours - there are little intricacies and none of us can ever think of them all when going through the process. I have been through other implementations with large well known companies in the past and run into the same challenges of certain things that were supposed to be possible - and turned out to be impossible. I also don't like we cannot change the onboarding packages as needed, we always have to contact customer support (which has been phenomenal, but we'd still like to do some of this on our own).
Great product for remote hiring.

EMPTrust is an excellent product. During our implementation, the support from EMPTrust employees was excellent. Customization to the product was without hesitation. After implementation, support continued to be excellent. The software is very easy to navigate and the seamless integration with E-Verify is a plus.
Very flexible onboarding platform
EMPTrust made our onboarding process mobile and simple for our distributed workforce. They are extremely accommodating to our needs and the price is crazy good.
Pros: The team at EMPTrust bent over backward to accommodate our needs. They worked and developed connections with other vendors to make sure all our systems talked with one another.
Cons: The mobile interface is clunky at times on custom screens. Things don't fit quite as well as they should. Works fine most of the times though.
EMPTrust- an Excellent Business Partner
We had major I-9 compliance issues with the government as our old platform lost over 1800 of our I-9s. We decided to switch based on lack of support and the loss of our documents. We chose EMPTrust as we were most impressed with their abilities, ease of use, and helpful nature. The transition process was smooth and seamless. They offered multiple training sessions to train our over 400 users, and quickly transitioned all of our historical files over to our new account.
Pros: The ease of use-- the administrative capabilities. Users report ease of use and increased compliance. It was an easy implementation and easy training. Great support staff.
Cons: Sometimes support is a little slow for our more complex needs. We do have some reports that we need but are not yet available.

Pros: We purchased the product not to long ago and ever since it has helped our HR department inmensely. It has been great for organizational purposes and good enough to keep track of every step.
Cons: Although I did find the pricing to be a little high at the beginning, I certainly believe you get in back in value after you've worked with EMP Trust.
User friendly software with electronic forms and workflows provides extensive functionality, support multi languages and is enabled to work with mobile, tablets and desktops with company branding.
I feel we have a had a positive experience with EMP Trust and the customer service. The ease of use, and the quick customer service provided. It's a very teachable product for other users as well.
The software was easy to use and the way the development and support team work with us to customized and enhance the platform was awesome! The team took the time to listen to our feedback and worked on implementing our suggestions on an individual and global level. Having the Everify within the system was a plus and a breeze to process new hires. The support staff are amazing - "Kudos to the support staff for being so responsive and super helpful".
It's fast, easy and the support group is amazing. I feel comfortable knowing that when I have questions the support group is right there to provided answers.

Cons: Our implementation was lengthy due to limitations of out HRIS receiving the data - this was NOT the fault of Emp Trust software. During this process the Emp Trust team was patient and available to answer questions from our HRIS vendor.
