We discovered SaveDay last year entirely by accident when researching 401(k) plans for our employees. While their brand has been little known up to this point, we are convinced that SaveDay is shifting the entire 401(k) ballgame in favor of small businesses and their employees. SaveDay's technology and fee schedule means employers spend absolutely nothing to set up and run the plan, and employee accounts incur a negligible AUM fee which is lower than that of competing 401(k) providers. The bargain almost seems too good to be true, but it's absolutely true. With SaveDay, our company can provide 401(k) accounts to college students in temporary summer jobs, giving them a head start on saving for retirement at zero cost to us, and at a negligible cost to the account holder. What we save in fees we can apply toward a company match for our employees. With other "discount" 401(k) providers that charge $8, $10, or $20 per employee PER MONTH, in addition to a $500 or $1000 annual fee per plan, it's cost-prohibitive to provide a 401(k) account to anybody but long-term salaried employees. But with SaveDay, every employee wins, including temporary and part-time workers. We were admittedly a little hesitant to sign up: Because of the low cost, we were expecting poor service, but we could not be more wrong. We were happily surprised by the high level of attention we received from one of SaveDay's experts when setting up the plan, which she perfectly customized to our particular desires. We got everything we wanted and more: a Safe Harbor straight 4% match, immediate eligibility, profit sharing, immediate vesting, and a Roth option too! After she set up the plan, the same expert proactively reached out to help us initiate our contribution processing in subsequent months. Fantastic 401k plan that is fully featured. Great customer support with knowledgeable 401k experts on staff. Very reasonably priced. I cannot sing SaveDay's praises more. I'm glad I was refereed to them by my accountant and would gladly refer them to anyone else.
