Employment platform’s Principal HR Business Partner recognized for her commitment to strengthening Central Florida’s emerging workforce
Frederick, Maryland – Aug. 26, 2026 – iHire congratulates Vickie Krolak, SHRM-CP, SPHR, Principal HR Business Partner, for receiving the Workforce Champion Award in recognition of her leadership and commitment to workforce development in Polk County, Florida. Krolak was honored for her efforts as President of SHRM Mid-Florida, Chapter 151.
Presented by CareerSource Polk, the Workforce Champion Award recognizes a Polk County employer, individual, or organization that has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a strong commitment to strengthening the local workforce through workforce and economic development initiatives.
Under Krolak’s leadership, SHRM Mid-Florida demonstrated its commitment to developing the next generation of talent through hands-on support of the CareerSource Polk Summer Youth Leadership Institute. As part of the initiative, a team of volunteer HR professionals conducted mock interviews with more than 150 young participants, helping prepare them for summer internships and future success in the workplace. SHRM Mid-Florida members volunteered their time, expertise, and professional insights to simulate real-world interview experiences and provide participants with personalized feedback.
