We hope your family is gearing up for a summer of outdoor adventures and relaxation. While you’re at it, we hope you’ll also focus on building resilience for the whole family. Some ways you can foster resilience in your kids is by creating summer routines together, modeling and teaching self-care, and coaching problem-solving skills when they face challenges. There is probably no more important capacity your child needs when they return to school next fall than resilience – the ability to cope with adversity and manage uncertainty. Helping parents address challenges at home will help them thrive, at home and work.
