I just spoke with the candidate, whose explanation really was frustrating – she knew she was a credit short, tried to rectify it for years with the school but then just gave up on it. Ironically, if she had simply said “attended” the school, there would have been no issue. We are not moving forward. You guys do some great work.

Thank you, HR Risk Mitigation, for catching these discrepancies on the candidate’s application; it’s clear that she has allowed herself to be credited for years with advanced degrees that she didn’t earn! We have rescinded her job offer…You saved us on this one!
