The quality of human interactions!
At the Human Interaction Lab at the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science, I was reminded engaging within groups are not about tools or titles—but about the quality of our human interactions.
The setting of the T-Group makes group dynamics visible in real time: who speaks, who stays silent, how power shows up, and how quickly defensiveness or over-intellectualization can arise—especially when conversations touch on racism and other emotionally charged topics. What made the difference was not avoiding discomfort, but learning how to stay present with it and feel it.
Through deep listening, feedback, and emotional awareness, difficult conversations became possible—not easy, but honest, authentic and relational. I experienced how self-awareness and emotional intelligence create the conditions where people can speak about the impact of their actions, not just their intention.
What I have taken away from this intensive experience: meaningful change begins when we are willing to look at our own behavior, emotions, perceptions and communication patterns (verbal and non-verbal) in interactions and understand how it affects others.
That kind of learning sticks—because it is lived, not taught. There is a reason for me looking so exhausted when I received my certificate. I was touching on several topics that are difficult for me during the week.
This experience reaffirmed my belief that if we want to co-create tomorrow, we must first learn how to truly be with one another today. We need more spaces like these—where we practice the courage, humility, and relational skills required to engage with the complexity around us rather than avoid it.
The responsibility of learning lies within each of us as well as the willingness of the group to engage in the topics arising.
I am very grateful to my trainers for holding the space within my T-Group and to my fellow participants for their presence.
The HI Lab was life changing. I walked in expecting just another leadership training, but I left with a deeper understanding of myself and how I show up in relationships. It was intense, eye opening, and incredibly rewarding. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to grow personally and professionally.
I’ve attended many leadership workshops, but nothing compares to the HI Lab. The experience challenged me in ways I didn’t expect, and I left with a profound sense of self awareness. The facilitators created such a safe and supportive space 10/10 would do it again.
If you want to truly understand human interaction, you need to experience the HI Lab. I learned more in one week than I have in years of working in leadership roles. It’s deep, emotional, and powerful. Just do it.
The HI Lab was an unforgettable experience. I came in thinking I was a good communicator, but I realized there was so much more to learn about presence, listening, and giving/receiving feedback. It’s an investment in yourself that pays off in every relationship you have.
TTTG was an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible. I gained insights into my communication patterns, how I impact others, and how I can build deeper connections. It’s a must for leaders, coaches, and anyone interested in personal growth.
This experience was truly transformational. TTTG pushed me outside my comfort zone, and I’m so grateful for it. I feel more confident in my interactions and more attuned to group dynamics. Can’t recommend it enough.
I was skeptical at first, but TTTG turned out to be one of the most impactful experiences of my career. It’s a rare opportunity to get real time feedback on how you engage with others eye opening and invaluable.
TTTG challenged me in ways I never expected. I’ve learned how to be more present, how to manage difficult conversations, and how to build deeper trust in relationships. If you want to grow as a leader or team member, this is the program for you.
The OD Certificate Program at NTL is the gold standard. The hands-on learning was immediately applicable to my work, and the facilitators are world class. If you’re serious about OD, this program is a must.
I finally found a program that blends theory with practice in a way that makes sense. The OD Certificate helped me refine my skills and build confidence in my consulting work. So worth it.
I loved how interactive and experiential this program was. It wasn’t just lectures it was real world practice with incredible facilitators. I feel equipped to make a real impact in my organization.
The OD Certificate Program helped me shift from just ‘knowing’ about OD to truly embodying it. The connections I made and the skills I developed have been game changers for my career.
Dynamic Teams completely changed the way I think about teamwork and collaboration. I walked away with practical tools for building trust, navigating conflict, and fostering a high performing team. Such a great experience.
This program helped me understand the underlying dynamics of my team and how to lead more effectively. I’ve already seen a difference in our communication and productivity. Highly recommended.
I wish I had taken this course years ago. Dynamic Teams gave me the skills to create a more open and engaged team culture. It was interactive, insightful, and incredibly valuable.
