Employers offering the Medicare Planning Fringe Benefit®(MPFB) deploy the Medicare PlanFinder® App to distribute the MPFB to Eligible Plan Members(EPMs).
The Medicare PlanFinder® provides convenienct access to educational videos & the Medicare FactFinder® questionnaire. After completing the Medicare FactFinder® questionnaire, a Benefit Advisor analzes the data and produces a customized Medicare Plan Comparison Report for each EPM. This report enables EPMs to compare the known cost of their Employer Health Plan with their most suitable, lowest cost Medicare plan options. An Employer Representative encourages EPMs to complete of the Medicare FactFinder® and schedule of their Medicare consultation. During the Medicare consultation, the report is discussed. The consultation's goal is to answer all of the EPM's questions until the EPM can make a healthcare planning decision with a high degree of confidence. When the known cost-sharing expenses of premiums, deductibles, MOOP, copays and plan benefits are compared effectively, Eligible Plan Members may conclude that transitioning to Medicare will result in significant cost savings and benefit improvements.
