I started working with Tiffany in September-ish of 2021. She found a new build, 4 miles from my job, and close to uptown Charlotte and by October, we were under contract. That place received over 500 applications and somehow, I was one of the lucky 26 others who got chose for the neighborhood. We had to wait on the homes to be built. We kept getting updates monthly telling us that the city of Charlotte was holding them up due to various reasons. Fast forward TWO YEARS later- in November 2023, I received a letter in the mail with my deposit back letting me know that they cancelled my contract. All that time waiting was for nothing. So, Tiffany got back with me and asked for next steps. It is a completely different market now. I bought that new build for 235k with a 2% interest rate. Talk about night and day. By December, I was under contract and in January, I had the keys to my brand new home. It has been the craziest ride but Tiffany stuck by me every step of the way. She really went above and beyond for me. I am so lucky to have been introduced to her and will always cherish the relationship we built in these 2.5 years. If your contemplating whether or not to move forward with this practice, don't hesitate any longer. They are in it for all the right reasons.
