Fathom’s hands-on Outstanding Management Skills Program teaches aspiring supervisors and managers the foundational skills of behavioral style, communication, motivation, delegation, generation, managing conflict, feedback, evaluation, time management, and on-boarding new staff.
Participants in this dynamic program learn to better understand the varying behavior styles of staff members and how to work more effectively with each. The session will help managers understand what motivates individual staff members by identifying key areas of motivation. Managers learn the four-step process of effective delegation to manage productivity.
Participants will learn to identify the four sources of conflict, de-escalate when it arises, and employ new collaboration techniques for better results. They will practice providing candid feedback to team members using an effective coaching tool. Managers will learn to facilitate an effective evaluation process. And finally, to create an effective employee on-boarding process for retention and organizational success.
Fathom’s training goes a step further by helping managers learn a values-based process for working effectively with team members from each of the five generations in the workplace
Through seasoned instructor facilitation, case study, role-play and coaching, participants learn to improve productivity and stay tuned in to satisfaction levels of the team.
