Dark Leadership: The Psychology of a Toxic Workplace
You've never had leadership training like this.... Dark Leadership is a unique course that bridges psychology, neuroscience, and human behavior to provide a deeper understanding into nefarious leadership. Dark leadership refers to leaders who exhibit unethical or immoral behaviors, often characterized by manipulation, deceit, exploitation, and abuse of power. This course examines psychological and behavioral mechanisms that enable toxic workplace cultures, employee manipulation, unethical decision-making, diminished trust, and organizational dysfunction. Students will develop the skills to identify, mitigate, and respond to dark leadership behaviors, strengthening their ability to foster healthy, ethical, and resilient workplace environments.
The Goal Behind Dark Leadership Training
Our goal is to equip professionals with the psychological competencies required to recognize, anticipate, and shape the behavior of a toxic workforce. This course was created to fill the void in traditional workforce training to prevent and mitigate toxic behavior.
How Dark Leadership Is Different
This is not conflict management. This course is intentionally designed to provide practical and applicable psychological tools for analyzing dark leaders. Students will be exposed to a wide variety of frameworks to understand the behavior of toxic members in their workplace. Dark Leadership was created by two organizational and leadership psychologists that are former military and federal intelligence officers with 30 years of combined experience.

Everyone knows how it feels to dread going to work and dealing with “that” person. This Dark Leadership course equips professionals to better understand, anticipate, and counter strategies used by dark leaders by integrating real world case studies with evidence based psychological frameworks.
