Who’s Really Behind Your EOR?

Content Summary

Every EOR site sells the same thing, local experts, real people, a named account manager, and they cannot all be telling the truth. The post turns that into a twenty minute vetting routine built entirely on public records.

Start at the legal or impressum page and check the entity name, number and address, then see whether that address is an office or a mailbox. Look the entity up in the official register, Sudski registar for Croatia, CompanyWall for the region, OpenCorporates elsewhere, validate the VAT number in VIES, and compare domain age in WHOIS against the years of experience claimed. Read the shareholder structure, because plenty of "homegrown local" brands turn out to be owned by the same global holding companies, which is not disqualifying but is the opposite of what was advertised. Then cross-check LinkedIn: headcount, where staff sit, role mix, recent activity, and whether your promised account manager actually exists.

The shortcut, if you only do one thing: ask which legal entity will employ your person and where it is registered. A real operator answers in one line with a registration number, a front end pivots to a sales call.
