Fantastic moving services with no complaints! Interstate handled the loading, transport, and unloading of our household goods from our Northern VA storage facility to our new home in Sunset Beach NC. Although the furniture was previously wrapped in heavy paper and plastic, the John and his Interstate crew carefully rewrapped everything with proper moving blankets. Despite the slight delay getting access to the storage unit (our fault), the crew patiently waited until the problem was resolved. Kim, the move consultant, and Dana, the move coordinator, could not have been more helpful throughout the entire process. We were always kept well informed and knew what to expect. We have done more than our share of moves over the years and this was clearly the best. Delivery went just as well, as Walter and his crew ensured each piece was set exactly where we wanted it and all items were unwrapped if requested. Before off-loading the furniture, they laid protective runners from the entry point to each room. They were careful, professional, and clearly took their work seriously. We definitely felt like VIPs. Interstate has our highest recommendation.

The Smithsonian Institution, National Air and Space Museum Library Research Center requirement to safely move a collection of unique historical books was most professionally handled by Interstate. Under the management of Ben Whitehorn, our options for the move were thoroughly reviewed until the Proposal and Agreement for Services he drafted covered all potential requirements involved. His forward thinking to ensure success, along with his ongoing communication to keep us informed regarding the actual status of the move was important to us logistically and greatly appreciated. From the Interstate truck to the transport team which undertook the material handling involved, we were indeed able to place full confidence in contracting with your company.
We used Interstate Moving for our move from Springfield, Virginia to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The packing team was fantastic. They wasted no time getting everything packed safely into boxes. A supervisor came by to complete a quality control check. The next step was a team of five guys that got everything into and out of the truck. They were incredible - by far the best team I ever had for a move, including all my military moves over a 27-year career. They used blankets for the furniture and then wrapped it all carefully in plastic. They taped heavy blankets to the front door jams and used floor covering throughout. There was a different quality control person that checked in on their work. The cleaned up after. The houses moving from and to are both three levels. Not one mark on the walls or damage to the property moved. I highly recommend them and if we move again, we will use them.
