While traditional counseling and self-help options like AA may be commonly known to the general public, it is less clear whether those afflicted with Alcohol Use Disorder (or who have loved ones who are) know about medications that can help curb craving and ultimately reduce alcohol consumption. Our study sought to uncover the level of awareness of this audience and how their knowledge compared to other common health issues.
