The Austin ISD Department of Campus and District Accountability (CDA) partnered with Jara Analytics to improve data management and staff awareness around data analysis. The knowledge and assistance gained from Jara Analytics has promoted positive and strategic actions in the department and provided an overall benefit for CDA Staff. CDA entered into a process in 2023 to redesign data management and data reporting with Jara Analytics as a consulting partner. They provided thoughtful insights and direction through a process of individual team member sessions and deliverables. The process included building a scope of services with an inexperienced reporting team and developing a professional learning program. Through these recommendations, CDA has started the process of building out an in-house talent development program for the benefit of current and future staff. In addition, Jara Analytics provided a detailed data management plan that will be used to inform an upcoming project with the goal of modernizing CDA data practices. The information Jara Analytics provided was directly in line with our needs and provided in a manner that was accessible to staff, regardless of their prior data management knowledge. Sometimes what you need to improve is a new perspective. Jara Analytics provided Austin ISD with a fresh perspective that impacts improvements to our staff development, data management, and reporting practices.

We engaged Jara Analytics to conduct in depth market research on the People Analytics technology space. Our primary goal was to learn about the specific use cases that large enterprises have for this technology, understand the most prevalent vendors and how they compare/contract, and gain some insights on how the market will grow in the near-term future (what additional use cases might enterprises have, how will spending change, etc.). Our engagement with Jara was a multi-phase, multi week engagement that included in depth primary research with one of the well known vendors in the industry and resulted in a well-constructed research report. We found the report to be informative, provided insights that we otherwise would not have known on our own, and help us make a decision on our stance of the market.
