At NTL, we offer an OD Certificate Programme designed to provide a deep understanding and practical expertise in Organization Development (OD). This program is structured into several key modules, each focusing on different core aspects of OD to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
Certificate Programme Orientation (April - half day): This online orientation session allows participants to connect with their cohort and learn about the program’s objectives, content, and learning approach.
Organization Development Theory & Practice: This module delves into the theoretical roots of OD, action research through the OD Consultancy Cycle, and the use of self as an instrument. Participants will explore the history and evolution of OD, understand its foundational principles and values, distinguish between diagnostic and dialogic OD, and identify the skills required to be effective OD practitioners.
Human Interaction Laboratory (the NTL T-group): This intensive small-group experience aims to increase self-awareness and understanding of interpersonal and group dynamics through feedback. It's critical for developing the competencies needed by OD practitioners, like improving communication skills, valuing diversity, and taking personal responsibility for learning.
Diagnosing Organizations with Impact: This module equips participants with the skills needed to make sense of organizational complexities. Participants will learn about organizations as open systems, develop data-gathering skills, and create personal diagnostic models. They will explore different diagnostic levels and perspectives and apply frameworks and methodologies to real-world cases.
