Healthy Weight
The Healthy Weight program is a twenty-four-month (maximum) intervention for clinically appropriate members that promotes short term use of anti-obesity GLP-1 medications as part of a lifestyle and behavioral management solution. This comprehensive, personalized program facilitates sustained weight loss. Participants must meet and maintain program requirements in order to earn a zero-dollar pharmacy copay on GLP-1 medications. The program consists of a thorough assessment with commitment from the participant, up to twelve months of access to GLP-1 medications and up to twelve months in the Keep It Off phase for continued lifestyle modification to support weight loss maintenance. A typical Abacus client is a self-funded group with 500+ employees/1,000+ health plan members.
