Caregiving-Related Work Productivity Loss among Employed Family and other Unpaid Caregivers of Older Adults

Content Summary

We are sharing to a larger audience a published study by Value Health that quantified caregiving-related work absences as well as reduced productivity (presenteeism). Among those affected, caregiving reduced work productivity by 1/3 on average - or an estimated $5,600 per employee.

At Arlow, we're building a product for family caregivers who are in the workforce - helping reduce stress, confusion, and the burden that comes with family caregiving, which, overall, improves how they show up to work during this stage in their life.
