As the U.S. population and workforce have become increasingly diverse, the need for companies to effectively recruit, retain, develop and promote individuals from diverse backgrounds is more important than ever. Hiring people from different backgrounds creates a more diverse workforce, but an inclusive workplace must be intentionally created. The pathway to building an inclusive culture that promotes high-performance in the 21st century workplace begins with an understanding of the role that the human mind plays as it relates to the barriers around diversity and inclusion.

During this one-day interactive learning experience, you will gain a better understanding of unconscious bias and how it impacts decision-making, organizational behavior, retention, and the talent pipeline within companies.

Learning Objectives & Outcomes
-Gain a better understanding of why the brain is a pattern-seeking organism so you can recognize unconscious bias as a natural process of the human mind.
-Increase awareness of unconscious biases so you can recognize and manage them more effectively so they don’t impair relationships and results in the workplace.
-Equip participants with the knowledge to proactively create an inclusive culture so that diversity becomes a source of strength and competitive advantage.
