On March 29, 2022, Biddle Consulting Group's Director of Talent Assessments, Jim Higgins, Ed.D., will present a webinar entitled "Interview Excellence."
In this webinar, attendees will learn the secret of creating and administering powerful interviews to help select the perfect candidate for the job. After a brief review of the importance of knowing exactly “what” the interview should assess, we will discuss the “how” to assess it. Specific focus will then be on the development and application of scoring rubrics. A scoring rubric is used to both enhance fairness AND ensure that interview ratings are focused on what it takes to effectively perform the job.

About Jim Higgins, Ed.D: Jim has over 20 years of professional experience in test development, test validation, and human resources research and statistical analysis. Jim brings a wide variety of skills and experience. Most recently, Dr. Higgins was a senior manager at the California Department of Justice where he supervised the department’s Talent Assessment, Development, and Business Analytics units. Jim has been a tenure-track professor of applied statistics at American River College and an adjunct professor at California State University, Sacramento. He has authored a number of book chapters, articles in peer reviewed journals and the popular statistics guide for practitioners titled The Radical Statistician: Unleashing the Power of Applied Statistics in the Real World .
