The CBSV confirms the applicant’s name, date of birth, and SSN match SSA records. This search validates personal identifiers through the Social Security Administration either pre-hire or post-hire and prevents the use of fraudulent identification during the onboarding process.
Pre-Employment Screening Solutions has direct access to the CBSV program as a designated agent for companies who have enrolled in the SSA program. CBSV will not satisfy or replace an employer’s I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
