Pre-COVID, in our 2020 Global Tax Market Assessment, we took the stance that U.S. tax departments were not ready to embrace the remote-work structure, despite seeing a rising uptick of European Tax Departments moving in that direction. Given recent circumstances under the pandemic, we recently had a few clients begin to inquire about or request support in recruiting candidates for new remote roles.
