The pandemic has shaken the very foundation of our lives and how we live it. We are now spending an increasing amount of time at home, isolated and mainly inactive. We already know that the pandemic gave rise to a myriad of psychological problems. For some, pre-existing conditions has been exacerbated, and for others, new experiences are being evoked. But what if the way we view and feel about ourselves can help counteract many of the negative psychological effects of COVID-19? In its simplest form, self-love is a powerful healing tool. Psychologists attest that the act of loving oneself is responsible for warding off anxiety and depression.
