When I think of the United States Air Force Generals who have made a difference in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, I have been conditioned to reflexively think of men--which is probably not all that surprising (being a guy). This is why Women's History Month is so important --to give many of us an opportunity to expand our understanding and appreciation of the massive contributions women have made in combat--and to the world at large.
