May is the month wherein we celebrate Mothers Day. Truth be told, mothers can never be truly celebrated or honored in one day. The impact of mothers and mother-figures is beyond our capacity to fully grasp and condense into one day of acknowledgement Within every civilization – from East to West – mothers are celebrated and revered. Poets, philosophers, and leaders across the world universally acknowledge the power of motherhood in birthing and influencing some of the world's greatest minds and advancing civilization. Indeed, mothers (and mother-figures) are the unheralded foundation of this world. Where would we be without them?
