Character is defined as a trait, quality, or high moral code. It consists of all the qualities that make someone distinct from someone else. A lot of people confuse character with personality. They are related but they are NOT the same thing. Your personality is an inborn trait--something that is easily seen and visible to others. For example, are you the bold, confident, or the shy, quiet type? Personality traits like these usually don't vary much across time and circumstances. Character, on the other hand, is more complex.
