The Carbon Savings Account? (CSA) is similar to a health savings account (HSA), except the funds are used for home technology and personal transportation upgrades that reduce utility bills, fuel expenses, and carbon footprint. The CSA can save each employee over $5,000 per year. The CSA is a corporate sustainability strategy that significantly reduces work-from-home and commute emissions. Key Features Scope Zero's platform facilitates the Carbon Savings Account? (CSA). We create and administer individual bank accounts for each employee that enrolls in the CSA. Each employee that enrolls in the CSA has a CSA debit card. If they forget their card when they?re making a purchase, our platform has reimbursement functionality. We integrate directly with a company?s payroll system to automate contributions, matches, and employee census updates. We have a marketplace that hosts our partner vendor ecosystem. We feed this information into a company?s sustainability reporting, and we delineate the "scope 3" work-from-home and commute emission reductions.
