One of my favorite riddles about leadership...
Q: When's the best time to plant a tree?
A: Twenty years ago.
Q: When's the second best time to plant a tree?
A: Right now.
As leaders, we're constantly checking in with ourselves.
What identity do I want to grow into?
Who do I want to become?
What do I want to preserve?
And what do I want to learn from?
So here are three questions for you to look at yourself as a leader... and what you've been harvesting these past few months.

Friday Self-Leadership Reflection:
1. High Point of the Season
What did you plant in the spring... that's starting to show up now?
Maybe it's a skill you were building. A relationship you were tending. A conversation you were slowly bringing to life on your team. Or something you were quietly growing in yourself.
2. Wisdom From Delaying Action
What are you realizing you waited a little too long to plant? And what is that noticing teaching you about what needs to go into the ground sooner next time?
Maybe it's a conversation you kept postponing. A boundary you didn't set. A relationship you didn't nurture. Or a piece of yourself you didn't feed.
3. Opportunity for the Fall Ahead
What’s a seed you’re realizing you’re ready to plant now that you weren’t ready for before?
Maybe it's a habit you'll start. A boundary you'll draw. A relationship you'll invest in. Or a truth you'll finally speak.
