Flow@Work Engagement Model

Flow@Work is Mindset’s scientifically designed and statistically validated employee engagement survey model, built to measure both the level of engagement and the factors that influence it.

The model distinguishes between the indicators of engagement, which show how engaged employees are, and the drivers of engagement, which identify the organizational, leadership and team factors that may be supporting or inhibiting engagement.

Flow@Work measures engagement through commitment to the organization and willingness to contribute discretionary effort, while nine researched drivers help organizations understand where to focus improvement efforts.

Results can be analyzed at organizational, business-unit, team and demographic level, with benchmarking and comparison against previous survey results.

Organizations can use Flow@Work as a starting point, then adapt the survey content or combine it with additional questions and constructs to reflect their own priorities.

Flow@Work provides the diagnostic foundation for Mindset’s broader Sustainable Engagement approach, helping organizations move beyond engagement scores to understand what is influencing those scores and where improvement is needed.
