About webinar speaker:
Chai Feldblum is a long-time civil rights advocate and scholar. She currently serves as President of EEO Leaders, a group she co-founded in 2025 to combat attacks on employment civil rights by the Trump Administration. Chai was a law professor at Georgetown Law in Washington DC for two decades, helping non-profit organizations advance their legislative social justice goals through a Federal Legislation Clinic staffed by law students. Chai helped draft and negotiate the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008. As a Commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, she spearheaded coverage of LGBT people under sex discrimination law and employment of people with disabilities. During the Biden Administration, Chai served as Vice Chair of the AbilityOne Commission, a federal agency devoted to the employment of people with significant disabilities. Chai attended Harvard Law School and clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun.
