ICE has to give you at least three business days' notice before a Form I-9 inspection. Call us the day the Notice of Inspection arrives, and our compliance team pulls and organizes your records, flags substantive versus technical errors, and prepares a clean production alongside your attorney.
Customers send us the notice, and we pull the requested records in bulk at no extra charge. Companies that aren't customers can send paper or another vendor's files, and we'll audit them fast and hand your counsel an error inventory with dollar exposure under the current penalty range of $288 to $2,861 per form.
ICE's March 2026 inspection fact sheet treats several common errors, like a missing Section 2 date or a missing date of hire, as substantive violations that no longer get the correction period technical errors still receive. That's why our team also runs internal audits before any notice arrives.
