Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS)—a leading nonprofit connecting individuals from underserved and underrepresented populations with transformative career opportunities—announces the grand opening of their operations center in Dallas, Texas. The event is open to the public on Sep 21, 2022 in union of their vision to combat socio-economic disparity and remove barriers in employment.
Intended to be a space where interested individuals and industry professionals may connect with leading organizations around the world, the community event invites guests and speakers from WOS partners Parsons, Turner, American Airlines, and more long-standing corporations. Attendees can come together in support of a far-reaching mission to empower underserved and underrepresented communities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and hold a conversation about workforce empowerment, diversity, equity, and full inclusion.
“WOS has had the opportunity to work closely within the diverse communities of New York City,” says Dr. Arthur M. Langer, Founder and Chairman of Workforce Opportunity Services, “and we look forward to extending that work.”
With the opening of a new center in Dallas, they will expand and continue to supply incredible talent to the Dallas community. As social entrepreneurs, WOS builds dynamic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, committed to bridging the gap between opportunity and talent. To date, WOS has served over 6000 individuals through partnerships with more than 75 corporations in more than 65 locations worldwide, connecting ladders of ascent for diverse talent that is ready to contribute to firms around the world. Their far-reaching mission is to provide opportunities on a global level, opening doors for veterans, women in technology, and those from African American and Latino communities.
