About Appreciation at Work

Appreciation at Work provides turn-key resources for managers, supervisors, executives, human resource departments, and employees. Founded in 2011 and based on the principles in the best-selling book, The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace (600,000+ sold, in 25 languages), we have provided appreciation training to federal (GSA-certified), state, and local government agencies, as well as to leaders in elite corporations, medical facilities, over 1,000 colleges and universities, every branch of the U.S. military, and many others worldwide. Our goal is to help organizations build healthy work relationships and create a positive workplace culture by:

* Training staff how to communicate authentic appreciation to one another

* Minimizing “go through the motions” employee recognition which creates negative reactions

* Increasing retention and reducing staff turnover

* Measuring the relative health of the organization and charting that progress over time

Our approach with leaders, work groups and organizations is high touch & practical. We have developed a variety of research-proven resources & processes that, when implemented, positively impact the culture of an organization. We are committed to providing a process and solution that fits the needs, structure, and practical logistics of each workgroup with whom we partner.

Our main products are "The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace" book, the Motivating By Appreciation Inventories (basic and expanded versions), the Appreciation at Work Train the Trainer Program, Onsite and Remote Training with Dr. Paul White, as well as hundreds of trained certified facilitators around the world.
