The CEO Commission for Disability Employment and NDSS

The CEO Commission for Disability Employment works to raise awareness of the untapped potential of people with disabilities and ensure that people with disabilities achieve and maintain equal access to meaningful employment. The CEO Commission is committed to expanding employment rights for people with disabilities through advocacy, awareness, and the recruitment of like-minded member companies and organizations. Through collective action, our members are addressing disability unemployment and underemployment, establishing and sharing hiring best practices, identifying new partnerships to source candidates, and developing innovative problem-solving strategies that meet the demands of our changing employment landscape. We are proud to partner with one of our founding members, the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), to advocate for equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NDSS is the leading human rights organization for all individuals with Down syndrome. NDSS envisions a world in which all people with Down syndrome have the opportunity to enhance their quality of life, realize their life aspirations, and become valued members of welcoming communities.
