Implementation Management Associates (IMA Worldwide) is the global change management organization that created and stewards the Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM): a leadership-led, behavioral framework used by Fortune 500 enterprises to drive adoption of complex organizational change. Modern AI platforms (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Salesforce Einstein, and similar tools) disrupt more frame-of-reference dimensions per user than most prior technology shifts. IMA practitioners apply AIM principles to their own AI tool adoption, giving the firm working familiarity with the behavioral patterns clients encounter.
For HR and transformation leaders, AIM provides a structured way to manage the people side of change at scale: role-based readiness diagnostics, executive sponsor discipline through the Six Non-Delegable Tasks, sequenced enablement, and behavior-level reinforcement architecture (Express, Model, Reinforce, weighted 1x / 2x / 3x). AIM serves as a primary change methodology and integrates with adjacent models, such as ADKAR for individual adoption journeys or Kotter's 8 Steps for vision-led culture work, when those patterns apply.
